The Division of Education’s Office for Civil Rights has opened an investigation into racial affinity groups at a New York Metropolis public middle college on allegations of racial discrimination.

“Please understand that opening the allegation for investigation beneath Title VI does not indicate that OCR has determined about your grievance,” the letter continued. “In the middle of the investigation, OCR is neutral; OCR will purchase and analyze the proof it should resolve about your grievance. PDE on Thursday cheered the OCR’s investigation.
